High School Senior Photography in Arizona | New Website

One of my favorite groups of people to photography is High School Seniors. There is something about Seniors that I just love!! They are willing to do something different and think outside of the box. They usually have a blast during the session and are so excited for the final pictures. They really want to look amazing and show their friends something different and unique. That’s what I love! They are willing to dream and come up with something totally different than their friends have.

I’m so excited to announce that we are bumping up our High School Senior Photography and hoping to do many more sessions with Seniors. We just created a new website to show off all of the amazing seniors we’ve photographed and we’ve announced our “Casting Call” model program on our website as well, which is geared toward Juniors who want us to photograph them for their senior pictures! With the model program it includes a chance to be featured on our website through video and photography, as well as a chance to be win national recognition as an actual senior model through the Senior Portrait Artists convention every year.

I wanted to share with you our new site and then this week we are going to highlight a little more about what our “senior experience” is like!

Check out our new site at WWW.KIMBERLYJARMANSENIORS.COM

Below are some screen shots of the new site!!

Our intro page is a gallery of our favorite images throughout the last few years. We have Softball players, baseball players, firetrucks, piano’s out in the desert, and so much more.

We are SOOOO Thankful to Serendipity Videography for putting together this amazing video of one of our “model shoots”. I wanted to show everyone the experience that you have with us as your photographer in a different type of way. Click the video below to go to our website and see the actual video.

Our “Casting Call” is highlighted on the website as well. This is geared toward High School Juniors, who want to help promote our studio and in return get some amazing deals on senior pictures!

We’ve also featured some of our favorite sessions in the “Featured Seniors” section.

We’ve included some of our favorite tips and secrets to get great pictures!

Lastly, there is a new feature on our website that allows you to view all of our latest blog posts and twitter feeds and connect with us on facebook! We love social media and want to share with you all the things going on here!

Again, check out the new website! Let us know what you think!

Lady Antebellum | Favorite Friday {These are a few of my favorite things}

Today’s Favorite Friday is going to be short and simple. This has been a crazy hard week full of shoots, a sick kid, crazy emails, a sick Kim, and a to do list that keeps growing even though I continually check things off….so, as i’m sitting here, Thursday night at 6:00 PM, I just finished a session and was about to leave the studio when I realized I didn’t write about my favorite friday. I am trying soooo hard to not forget to do these because i’m having a really good time with them!

So, all of that being said… here is my favorite Friday item for this week……

LADY ANTEBELLUM
(and no… I did not take this picture.. it is off the internet)

For those of you who know me well you know that I love music, but i’m not crazy into what I listen to. I know my moods, but i’m pretty easy going with listening to almost anything. I usually let others be the DJ because I just want to hear good music. I don’t keep up on tabs of what bands are doing, where they are going, who they are dating, and what styles they are wearing. I just don’t have time to do that and it’s never been something i’ve done. I can’t tell you everyone’s name in the band and i’m for sure not a groupie. I have only been to a few concerts in my life because they’ve never been a huge deal to me….. so when I told my husband that if I were to ever go to a concert it would be Lady Antebellum he listened.. and listened good!

About a couple months ago my husband surprised me with 2 tickets to see Lady Antebellum and I was SOOOO happy. I don’t know what it is, but I love listening to them and am a huge fan. I can see my self really enjoying a concert  of theirs and i’m overly overly excited for this! He invited one of my very good friends and her husband (shout out to Jen Thye!!) to come with us as part of the surprise as well, so i’m so excited to be able to go on a date, to a concert that I love, with my husband and 2 great friends of ours. It’s a huge treat that never happens in this house, so i’m ecstatic!

Who know’s maybe this concert will change my desires and i’ll want to go to more concerts… we will see. But for now, i’m just so excited that my husband thought so much about pulling this surprise together, so thank you honey!!

I’m also excited because over the last few months I have been running a contest to win Lady Antebellum tickets for anyone who books a session with me up until November 11th (which is today)…. so there is still one more chance to book your wedding, portrait session, senior session, or any other type of session and be entered in to win 2 tickets…. so if you haven’t, you better email today to get that booked!! There’s a pretty good chance you could win!

To find out more about that contest click here. and read more below.

The concert is next week on the 17th. Is anyone else going to make it out there?

Love these pics of the guys and their amazing socks. Great Guy shots from Emily!

We headed to downtown Chandler for some great wedding party and Bride and Groom Pictures.

Love these of Andrew and Andrea!

And after a little scare of me loosing my keys (worst nightmare ever coming true), and thankfully a groomsmen finding them hiding deep down in my car (embarrasing), were were off to a new spot that I was dying to take Andrew and Andrea to… and it paid off… some of my favorite images from ALL year are below!

NEW FAVORITE!!!!!

The reception was at Noah’s in Chandler, which has a great ball room! Since we were out taking gorgeous sunset pictures, Emily got some great details for me! THANK YOU EMILY!

And let the Party begin… and it really did!!

The guy on the left had seriously everyone going crazy… dancing like a maniac the entire time…. fun for all!

Brother, not sure about the garter…

But Andrew went right in!

Andrea did a dress change before the bouquet toss and she looked stunning!

Love this picture of Matt, Jessie (with little baby boy on the way) , me, Andrea and Andrew. Love seeing people that I love at weddings again!

You guys are amazing and wonderful! Thank you for letting me be a part of such a great day!!

Andrew + Andrea | Wedding in Chandler, Arizona {Part I}

Photography by Kimberly Jarman + special thanks to Emily & Diana as 2nd photographers.

I’ve been super super excited for this wedding for quite some time. Andrea was in Jessie and Matt’s wedding way back in 2007 and I LOVE shooting weddings for friends of clients, especially these guys!!

I got to know Andrea and Andrew a little better when they came up to Pinetop this summer to do their engagement session (which turned out amazing by the way… pictures from that to come later!) and we had so much fun! Such a wonderful couple and so perfect for each other.

Andrew and Andrea met on a school bus on the way to a baseball game back in Pharmacy school. Andrea still laughs at their introduction because after she had told him her name, Andrew said, “my name is the same as yours, just not with a W and with an A”!……. From that point on they hung out all the time throughout pharmacy school and beyond!

The wedding was truly wonderful. Andrea got ready at the Royal Palms with her girlfriends and family. When I walked in Andrea grabbed my hand and said, “oh i’m so glad you are here, I feel so much better knowing you are here and now I know the day is going to be wonderful”. It was so sweet and of course made us love her even more!!

Diana, one of my amazing shooters, hung out with us and got some amazing shots, which are mixed in with all below and Emily, my other amazing shooter, hung out with the guys and got some great shots of them hanging out and getting ready! I have to say that I am truly blessed with my amazing 2nd shooters and so thankful for the amazing pictures they got! So thank you to them!

We are breaking this post up into 2 different posts because there are just too many favorites, so come back on Wednesday to see the rest of this amazing wedding!!

We’d like to thank all the amazing vendors who made this day possible:

Florist: Jan Dekker Designs

Venue: Noah’s

Caterer: Famous Daves

Hair Stylist: Silvna Wehbe, with Elite Hairstyles

Makeup Artist: Adriana Fontes

DJ: Citron Sound Services

Andrea getting ready at the Royal Palms

I love this shot that Diana got from the back… love these robes.

Emily was able to get some AMAZING details for me since the flowers were all over with the guys. Love these pics and these flowers.

I LOVE ring shots!

Again, thanks to Emily for getting these guy details and pictures of the guys getting ready! It looked like so much fun!

The Guys all had different fun socks, but Andrew is a diehard Greenbay fan, so his of course were Green and Yellow!

Andrea’s gift for Andrew… a little red book… that’s one great smile!!

Andrea’s dress was amazing and looked gorgeous on her!

Isn’t Andrea’s mom so gorgeous? I could tell it was her the minute I met her, she looks so much like Andrea! – Thanks To Diana for such a great capture!

Diana got these AMAZING captures of Andrea’s brother seeing Andrea for the first time. They are super close, so these are such great moments.

Dad seeing Andrea for the first time!

Andrea’s Dad watching her open a gift from Andrew! Love this one too!

This was a wine box that they were going to celebrate with on their one year anniversary. Andrew made the box himself. What a special gift.

Portrait time of Andrea.. gosh she is beautiful!

In LOVE with this capture Diana got!

Stunning!

Andrea…. you were GORGEOUS!!!!

Stay tuned for Part II coming up next!
