ABOUT THE STUDIO

The Kimberly Jarman Photography Studio specializes in Portrait and Wedding Photography. We are located in the historic district of Downtown Mesa, but are willing to travel all over the world. We have been photographing Weddings and Portraits for over 13 years and have won numerous awards for our photography.

We love weddings, as well as we love working with High School Seniors, Families, Models for fashion photography, and fitness style shoots, as well as many other types of photography.

Oh Applewhite family.. how much I love you! I truly am so blessed to have you in my life! I’ve known Sarah for almost 10 years now; she is one of my most favorite makeup artists ever and I’ve been so blessed to work with her on so many weddings and portrait sessions. I love that every year I get to photograph her family and they allow me to do WHATEVER I want with them, which is always a breath of fresh air. I love this session so much and have been dying to put it on my blog! Enjoy the crazy creativeness of this family. They are amazing!

DANIELLE + ANDREW | ASSOCIATE WEDDING AT THE DESERT BOTANICAL GARDEN

We are so excited to show you an associate wedding! Emily did a BEAUTIFUL job and we’ve loved looking through them here in the studio! Danielle and Andrew had a elegant wedding at the Desert Botanical Gardens at the beginning of March, all coordinated by the very talented Lauren with Victoria Canada Weddings & Events. Danielle & Andrew LOVE baseball, so they decided to incorporate their love of the game into their wedding by making their place cards into mini tickets (so fun!) and each table a different stadium. They even went as putting their favorite team, the Iowa Hawkeyes, on their cake – love it!

It’s been too long since i’ve just posted to say hi. Today I thought I would take a little chance to just jump onto the blog and chat it up with you all instead of only showing pictures.

We have been slammed here at the studio and although it is a lot of work I can’t thank you all enough for trusting us with your pictures. We are fully in wedding season right now and starting next weekend have 9 weddings almost every weekend until June. I can not tell you enough how excited I am for every single wedding we have this spring and summer; It’s going to be a great year. Already we’ve had a few weddings and they have been AMAZING, with such great couples and friends and family. We couldn’t be happier.

On top of weddings we’ve been going crazy with High School Senior Sessions, Newborns, and Family sessions. Loving everything we are getting and so thankful for our clients.

We are about to launch a new website for weddings soon, and I can’t wait to share it. We’ve been working on it for a year now and are so ready to get it out there for you all to see. Hopefully soon; we are just working on some final details.

We would LOVE to hear from you! Please tell us what you’d like to see from us. Is there something you’d like me to specifically blog on? Let me know. I’m going to try to get better at jumping in every once in awhile to say hi and would love to know what you’d like to hear from me on.

STAVROS | SCOTTSDALE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

We’ve been so blessed to be able to do quite a few newborn sessions lately! What a joy it is to be a part of such an important time in people’s lives. I love it when we get to be a part of someone’s wedding, then their newborn, and then the rest of their family memories. It’s really the reason I do this! This little guy was so adorable and was perfect. He slept for me the entire time and we were able to get some amazing images!! LOVE THEM!!

ERIC + AMANDA | WEDDING AT THE FOUR SEASONS

Amanda had always dreamt of a New Years Eve wedding, so when she got engaged to Eric, they wasted no time setting the date. After that they realized they wanted a destination wedding, and The Four Seasons – the epitome of Arizona desert – quickly became their chosen venue! Throughout the whole day you could feel the warmth and the love throughout their wedding – they were such welcoming people that made us feel like family! After getting ready with their friends and family close by, Eric and Amanda saw each other for the first time, then ROCKED their portraits! It was easy to take pictures of people so in love with each other! Amanda loved the idea of a night time ceremony, so a few hours before the clock struck midnight, they exchanged vows in front of the people that meant the most to them – all of which came from out of state to support this amazing couple. The reception was equally as amazing – the Four Seasons ballroom was decked out in black and gold with pink accents – definitely ready for a party! At midnight, they counted down with The Hamptons Band and celebrated the New Year!
