Jennifer and Nick Day After Session

The Day after Session is such a great way to really spend time getting some great pictures of you and your new husband. I told Jennifer about this and she was all for it. We made this somewhat of a trash the dress session, in the sense that I asked her to do things that I would normally not ask a bride to do in their wedding dress. We got some amazing pictures and Jennifer and Nick were both so excited to do the session. Nick couldn’t stop talking about getting in the water so I made sure it happened. And I have to let you all know that the water was FREEZING… October in Michigan is not the warmest so they were such troopers… I was totally impressed!!

I also get to check # 60 off my 101 in 1001 list because I successfully shot a trash the dress session.

I would love to shoot more of these because they are really the best way we can get some amazing pictures. Trashing the dress does not mean that we kill the dress completely; it really means we are able to do things that you normally wouldn’t do. If you would like to do one of these sessions let me know and we can schedule it; you don’t have to be newly married, you could be married for 1 day to 20 years… it’s open to anyone.

Come on people let’s get some killer shots and let’s get a little dirty in the process!!! ENJOY!

P.S. I forgot that there is a slideshow as well…. click here to view it.

Jocelyn Sanders - What amazing photos, so adventurous! I was at the PUG meeting last night and you were saying how much you like it when people comment on your blog, so, vuol la. Your blog stalker has taken some action. Eh, that may have sounded a little menacing. Sorry.

A Ghost Town Engagement Session

A couple weeks ago I had one of the best times with Allyson and Derek. They are originally from Colorado and are getting married at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, in November. When they originally came out to do their engagement session in June I got really sick and we all decided it was for the best to wait; i’m so glad we did because the weather was perfect when they came out and we had so much fun.

We went to a ghost town in Arizona and just walked around and had a ton of fun. They did so good and we got some amazing pictures. We then went out to eat at Derek’s favorite restaurant, Chilis, which happens to be my husbands and my favorite restaurant too, so the 4 of us had a great time eating and getting to know each other some more. Below are some of my favorite pictures so be sure to check them out! And Feel free to comment… I love hearing from you all!

101 things to do in 1001 days

101 things to do in 1001 days

A while back a few of my friends, Melissa Jill, Liene Stevens, and Jennifer Bowen all created lists of 101 things to do in 1001 days. I said I was going to do it, but never took the chance to write them down. So, while I was in Sedona with Melissa she made me take out a piece of paper and write out as many goals as I could on our way home. I’m really glad she did because I really do like goals and wanted to get working on them.

So, I have joined the bandwagon of 101 things to do in 1001 days. Hopefully I can start making somewhat of a dent on the list. Some goals are business and some are personal. I have 5 more that I need to think of, but that will come in time.
