LOCATIONS.LOCATIONS.LOCATIONS. WHERE SHOULD WE GO?

We have a whole lot of fun locations up our sleeves and have some great ideas of where we can go for your session, but before we can start throwing ideas out there we need to know what locations really peak your interest and make you drool. What locations scream “THAT IS US” or “I LOVE IT”. When you look at an image what do you see? Do you see the emotion? Do you see the Ambiance? Do you see the Location? Do you see YOU in the setting?

We want you to look through the images below and let us know which Style really stands out to you. You might see a couple different styles, and in many situations we can work with a couple different styles. The biggest thing that we want is for you to tell us what you like so that when we get done with the pictures you are more in love with them than you thought possible.

So, here we go…. which style screams out to you from the rooftops?

URBAN

Urban is a feel and a look. It’s textures, graffiti, old buildings, railroad tracks, construction sites, parking lots, parking garages, stairs, brick, grundge, and all of that with you in the image. It’s JUXTAPOSITION: “the act or placement of two things (usually abstract concepts) near each other”. It’s your gorgeous family in bright colored clothes in an old ally; a couple dressed for a night out in front of an old falling apart building, a toddler running around in a monkey hat with metal texture behind him, a stylish high school senior in a parking garage. You never know what you will get, and that is the fun of it. It’s edgy and different. It’s for the family who screams different and wants to be different.

 

 

RURAL

TREES & GRASS

Rural is a lot of things. It’s whimsy, romantic, soft, and a little outside of the normal Arizona. It’s somewhere we have to hunt for to make it look like you are out in the wilderness, outside of the city. We do have some of these hidden gems, but you have to trust us. Sometimes they are a corner parking lot with over grown brush and funny looking trees, sometimes we have to drive outside of the city, sometimes it’s right in your backyard. It’s a look and a feel that makes you smile and feel good. It melts your heart a bit. A family, a senior, a couple, a newborn, a toddler… they all look wonderful in nature.

 

 

RURAL

DESERT ROMANCE

Some people love the desert, some people don’t. Whichever camp you fall into, you have to admit that sometimes the desert is amazing. We have found some locations that give us a little mix of desert with rural so that you get a bit of both. If you love that desert feel let us know which images below speak to you and we can try to hunt down the location to fit your need.

 

 

TRADITIONAL

MANICURED GRASS & TREES

Some people just want tradition & classic beauty. While Arizona doesn’t have a lot of green grass that us photographers have access to, we do have a few locations that can hit the spot. If you are traditional to the core it’s nothing to be ashamed about, just let us know so that we don’t trudge you through the back allys and make you cringe. We can find a location that fits perfectly for you.

 

 

EDGY

FASHION

We love a fashionista and a a little edge. We like to go outside of the normal and throw some light or edginess into the picture. If you LOVE this look be sure to tell us. We can add edgy to almost anything, except for traditional… they don’t always play well together. Edgy & Urban fit well together and we can always add a little edgy to rural too if we know you want some!!! Edgy works best on couples, older families, model portfolios, and high school seniors. Families with small children are a little harder to light, unless you KNOW they are great in front of a camera. In any case, we are always up for a little fun and trying out… so again, just let us know what stands out to you.

If there are certain ones that stand out to you, let us know which ones they are so that we can possibly use the same location. Locations change and access changes too, so while most of the locations above are available, you might have to trust us to find something similar and come up with something unique to you!
