What is your photography Style?

Kim’s style is a beautiful mix between photojournalistic and fashion. Her ability to not only capture the moments but create them as well is absolutely seamless. She is a little Romantic, a little edgy, and a little traditional all at the same time. She loves to use light to create drama in an image, and she works to capture the little things that many times would go unnoticed.

 

What is Kim like to work with on the day of a wedding?

Kim is always fun to work with on the wedding. She loves to laugh and have fun, but knows how to get down to business when it’s needed, without coming across that she is stressed in the least. She is always professional and always adds to the overall feel of the wedding day. Many people have commented that she is easy going and many times didn’t even realize she was there while she was shooting.

 

What are your rates?

Kimberly’s 2016 rates start at $5700. All collections include at least 2 photographers, online viewing of your images, and the hi-res images of the wedding. Collections can be customized to fit each couples needs. Associate photographers start at $3200 and include the hi-resolution files.

 

How do we book you?

Once you know you would like to reserve us for your wedding date just contact the studio and we will email you over a proposal. Everything is done online, which makes it very convenient for you. You will need to sign your contract and pay the non-refundable reservation fee. To reserve your date, 33% of the collection you purchase is due at the time of booking. It is a non-refundable retainer and holds the date for you. The 2nd 33% will be due at 1/2 way from the date you booked to the wedding date. The final payment is due 4 weeks before your wedding.

 

Can you hold the date for me?

We can not hold a date unless a retainer is given and a contract is signed. Everything is on a first come first serve basis.

All payments must be paid prior to the wedding. 

 

If I have to cancel my wedding can I get my money back?

All monies paid are non-refundable. Once you reserve your wedding date we lock it in on our calendar and turn away any other potential clients for that day, because of that, all monies that are paid towards the wedding are non-refundable.

 

What happens if you can not photograph our wedding?

Kimberly has never not shown up for a wedding and the only thing that would ever stop her from doing so was if she was in the hospital on her death bed (knock on wood). With that being said, if something like that were to ever happen Kimberly does have backup system’s in place to make sure you are never left alone on your wedding. Either one of Kimberly’s associates would take over the wedding or, because she is a part of such a wonderful wedding community, she would find someone who is extremely qualified to photograph the wedding.

 

How far out do you book weddings?

We typically book our weddings no more than a year in advance.

 

How much coverage will I need?

While every wedding is totally unique and different, we have found that the amount of coverage that people use tends to be about the same. Kimberly Jarman’s typical coverage is around 9-10 hours. As we sit down and discuss your wedding we will help you look at your schedule and help to determine how much time you need. We are lifestyle photographers so we want to be at your wedding from the getting ready all the way until cake cutting. It might seem like a lot of time, but we promise, it’s not!

 

Do you provide more than one photographer?

We always have a second shooter and an assistant at weddings – both are vital to helping your wedding photography flow as smooth as possible. The second shooter is there to photograph and focus on the groom and his groomsmen, as well as provide a different perspective throughout the day.

PricingInfoPage Do you meet with us again before the wedding?

After our initial meeting, we will do most of our communicating via email and phone. Unless you decide to do an engagement session we won’t need to meet up again until the day of the wedding. We will be communicating with you or your wedding coordinator throughout the year up until your wedding and if you have any questions you can always contact us!

 

What can we expect after we book you?

Once you sign your contract you will receive a “getting to know you ” questionnaire from us. This is just a fun little survey that will help us get to know you a little more. From there we will work on scheduling your engagement session. About 8 weeks before your wedding you will hear from us again asking that you fill out one more “wedding” questionairre. From this questionnaire, we will get more information about your wedding and help you create a schedule of photography. Throughout this process we are always available via phone and email to chat with you and make sure that we are all set for your wedding!

How much will you pose us during portraits?

Kimberly is very much a lifestyle photographer, which means she wants the two of your personalities and love for each other to really show in your pictures. This usually means that we won’t “pose” you into weird positions, but we will help “guide” you into creating stunning pictures that are natural, candid, and really highlight who you are as a couple. There is a lot of cuddling and kissing involved, but we promise it makes for good pictures. 

Do you travel? 

Yes we love to travel, and do it quite often. We will go anywhere you go, with a travel fee, of course
 

Can we book an engagement session with you?

Kimberly loves to shoot engagement sessions! We call our engagement sessions, Forever Sessions and we book those separately as a portrait session, so that you can get the most out of your session with us. We will take you through a great experience and really work at finding out who you are as a couple and getting pictures that show and document that. How long will it take for us to receive our images? 

We work very hard to make sure you get your images in a timely manner – we are sure you are excited to see them! We typically put up your wedding images online about 1-2 weeks after the event, and then we typically send you your disk of wedding images in 3-4 weeks after the wedding. We tell you 6-8 weeks, but typically it’s much much quicker.

How many images will we receive?

We do not limit the number of images that you receive, so every wedding is different. On average our couples receive anywhere from 1000-1500 images. We sort down to the best of the best and color correct every image so that when you receive your final disk of images they are perfect and ready to print.

 

What do your albums look like?

Our albums are beautiful. They are flush mount albums meaning that we digitally design the images to be printed on a single sheet. The albums are custom bound and there are many different options for covers and leathers. They can totally match your style and personality, whether you want something more traditional or something totally different.

How do I book one of your associates?

Our associates are amazing. They are wonderful photographers and will do a great job at your wedding. She can get you all of the details and help you to secure your date with one of the associates.

 

Are all the images in the online gallery the same ones I will receive on my disk?

Yes, the images online will match the images that you will receive on your disk. We will give you everything that we upload.
