I love it when I get the opportunity to photograph something different than the norm. For me, I don’t do a ton of maternity pictures, but when I do I have a great time doing them. Jeana asked me to capture this amazing time in her life and i’m so glad she did because between this session and their newborn session I have fallen in love with this family! Jeana was gorgeous in every one of these images and pretty shortly after gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, whose pictures you will see very very soon!

I was sitting in bed this morning thinking that Valentines day is coming up really soon and what I would love more than anything for Valentines day is to get some really great pictures of my family. Luckily for me that is happening tomorrow as I’m getting family pictures taken (whohoo), but I know a lot of you aren’t that fortunate…. so I’m running a Valentines Portrait sale until Valentines day for any of you who haven’t yet gotten that perfect valentines gift.

My sister is due anytime now with her third child.. a little girl, so I asked my very good friend Kimberly Bee to show me some of her secret places that she shoots and tag team on a maternity session with me. We went out to nowhere land and got some amazing shots. These images are a mix of Kimberly Bee’s and my images. So much fun!

I love this one that Kim got.

Maternity Pictures

When I was pregnant, one of my best friends, Jennifer Bowen, photographed my maternity session. It was such a blessing to have real quality pictures taken of me during this time. They are all over my house and I LOVE them!!!

Well now Jen is pregnant so we had to get some great shots of her. She really wanted to do a lot with her daughter and husband so I went over to her house and we spent an hour or so getting a bunch of pictures.

I LOVE what we got.

Maternity pictures are so special and neat. I’m so glad that I had them done because it is such an important time in life! What memories and crazy times you have while you are pregnant.

Jen, you look amazing… i’m so excited for you!

This is one of Jens favorites because it totally shows her relationship with her daughter.

I love this one of the family.

Isn’t Jen gorgeous??? I wish i looked this good when I was pregnant:)

The Belly!!

The Pregnant Belly!!! – Part 1

I have had many requests to see pictures of my belly…. and although this is very hard for me to post up here for the world to see I had to do it!!!

I am so lucky to have wonderful friends who are photographers! My friend Jennifer Bowen went out with Jamie and I a few weeks ago and took “Maternity” pictures! It was so weird being on the other side of the camera, and in all actuality this if the first time in our lives that we have actually gotten “professional pictures” taken of us… I know, I know.. sad huh?

But, all in all we had such a great time and i’m really happy with the pictures, although I am too critical of myself:):).

It was a fun experience because Jen was making me do things that I make my clients do and I didn’t realize what I put you all through to get great pictures:):) But it’s worth it right??

So, here are just a few… I haven’t had a chance to go through all of them, so once I do I will post additional ones!

Thanks Jennifer for doing this for us… we will cherish them forever!!

Shelley’s Maternity Pictures

So, I know I have been MIA lately… i’ve been shooting a lot and also struggling with a yucky cold, so today i’m sitting on my couch and working on pictures.

Awhile back I posted a maternity picture for Shelley and John, but I hadn’t finished the session. Well I just finished and wanted to post a few more… Warning there is one picture that shows a lot of skin, so be warned.

Shelley’s Maternity Session

Yesterday I met up with Shelley and John Robbins to shoot a maternity session with them. I photographed their wedding in 2006 and i’m so glad that they called me back up to shoot this session. We had such a great time and it was so good catching up.

I still have a ton of pictures to go through but I had to share this one. This was the last part of the day and I had a vision when I saw this location and this is exactly what I envisioned! I think this shot is absolutely gorgeous and I LOVE it! Once I’ve had a chance to go through the other pictures I will share more!
