The Peregrin family is super super super sweet and I have grown to LOVE them over the years. This session is one of the older ones that I realized never got posted, but it’s such a good one that I had to share.

I love cute and adorable families who let me have a ton of fun with them on the shoots! It’s always a good time!

We’ve been going through all of our pictures from the past few years and have realized that we haven’t been great at blogging families lately… so sad. I’ve had some AMAZING sessions over the last few years and you have NEVER seen them. So, we are pulling out the archives to show you some of our favorite families and sessions.

To start, I give you the Peregrin family. One of my favorite families i’ve had the honor to photograph. I LOVE these images and everytime I look at them i’m brought back to what a fun session we had in downtown phoenix!

I met Taryn at Erica and Justin’s wedding. I’ve talked a lot about Erica and Justin… remember my ad with the smiling girl… have you walked by my studio and seen them in front of a really cool car… and did you see their amazing baby pictures of little miss E? Anyways, this post is about Taryn, not them, but that is how I met Taryn. She did Erica’s hair for her wedding. Since that day she has now done quite a few of my bride’s hair, and now does my hair, and all my high school senior’s hair, and has kinda become like family. So, when she asked me to take their family pictures, I jumped at the chance!

Their beautiful daughter Ashlyn is 4 and reminds me sooo much of Kailee, my daughter, so it was so much fun taking these pictures of her and thinking, I wonder if this is what Kailee is going to be like in a year.

Ashlyn is full of life and Loves art. She paints and draws, so we wanted to capture some of that in her pictures.

Love this family. Love this little girl. Love these pics.

I was going through some portrait sessions from this last year and realized I hadn’t blogged a lot of them, so I thought I should share them with you because these are absolutely adorable families!!

I LOVED photographing this cute family. We had such a great time running around downtown mesa and getting these shots. I love what they wore, I loved their energy, and I loved their willingness to do anything and everything.

I love it when I get calls from Industry friends who want me to take pictures of their family! I’m totally honored when this happens and especially when it involves cute little darlings like this one. Little Miss B actually turned one almost a year ago… that’s when I actually did this session, but I’m trying to finally blog some of the images. Miguel, an amazing guitarist and industry friend, and his wife Kim were married at the Royal Palms Resort, so this is where we actually went to take these beautiful pictures of little Miss B.

She did such a great job and is so adorable. These are some of my very favorite pictures!! I wanted to make sure that they did get shared, even though in a few months she actually turns 2 (woops:)).

I was sitting in bed this morning thinking that Valentines day is coming up really soon and what I would love more than anything for Valentines day is to get some really great pictures of my family. I am blessed to have the job that I have. Really, what could be better than being able to get to know amazing families and people and photograph pictures that are going to be displayed all over their house for years to come. I truly love what I do.

Meet the Lautz Family. While I was in Pinetop at the beginning of June I was taking pictures for “Pictures in the Pines”. An annual photoshoot I do every year in the Pinetop area. It allows for families to get some very different and fun pictures out of the heat! The Lautz family is from Tucson and are living in Pinetop for the summer, so the asked me to take pictures of them.

We went out to one of my “secret” locations and had a blast. The brand new addition to the family came along as well and kept us very entertained!

Isn’t this guy the sweetest? He was showing me how old he was!! LOVE it!

And yes, that is a true action shot. They were just having a little fun and I caught the action! Some very sweet shots as well.

Shaun grew up 2 house down from me from age 2 until I was out of high school. He was pretty much like my brother the entire time. We rode bikes, played forts, built snow slides and castles, and football in the street. I have so many memories of my friend.

After High School we lost touch for awhile. I did my thing and Shaun joined the Army. About 5 years ago I was able to reconnect with him for a bit, but then lost track of him once more only knowing that he could be called to go to Iraq at any time. About a year ago I started googling his name to try to find him again and I was desperate to make sure that he was ok.

I was so glad when I found out that he was ok. He was serving in Iraq and had been for awhile. He had also gotten married and had a little boy. I managed to make contact with his wife, Keri, and reconnected with Shaun and his family through my favorite thing… facebook!!!

About a month ago I saw a post that Keri had written to Shaun on facebook. She told him that his son had just taken his first steps. My heart was broken…he wasn’t here to see his son turn 1 or take his first steps. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to not have my husband here to see Kailee grow up in these most important moments. I really wanted to do something for Shaun so that he could see his son and have pictures that documented this place of his life.

I emailed Keri and asked her if I could do a session for Desi, their 1 year old son. She was thrilled and agreed to meet me to get some pictures done.

A couple of weeks ago we met up and I was able to meet Keri and Desi for the first time. It was special to me to meet the wife and son of a friend that was more like a brother. I felt like I was meeting family.

We took some great pictures of Desi and I hope these pictures will help Shaun to see what an amazingly cute and wonderful Kid he has waiting for him when he gets home.

I have to thank Shaun so much for serving this country and protecting all of us. He truly is a hero. Thank you Shaun, I hope you enjoy these pictures of your family.

Addie Miller – 7 Months!!!

This is Addie, one of the cutest little girls on the face of this earth and aren’t I so lucky that I got to photograph her!!!!!!!!

This is my third session with her… the first time she was in her mothers stomach!!!

It’s amazing watching her grow and being able to take these monumental pictures of her. It’s especially amazing to me too because as I watch her I think of my little girl who is about to come soon…. it makes me want to meet her even more!

Addie is so adorable and so loveable… you can tell that she is loved because she is just so happy and loves her mommy and daddy sooooo much!!!!

I hope you enjoy these pictures because they truly are some of my favorites!
