Meet Kimberly Jarman

Kimberly Jarman is not your typical photographer. Don’t let her quiet and reserved personality fool you… when you hire her she’s going to transform into something a little crazy. She’s edgy, fun, and likes to think outside of the box. You will get images that stand out from other photographers because of the way she see’s things through a camera.

While weddings have always been one of her favorite things to photograph, she has a huge passion for high school seniors, families, and little kiddo’s. Pretty much, any person, that is willing to give her creative license and have fun, she enjoys photographing. She’s not traditional… so make sure you know that before you sign on… she’s going to make you come out of your box and get pictures you didn’t think you could take!

She’s always had a passion for photography and since 2003, when she opened up her first photography studio, she has committed everything in her to capture images that are different and give her clients something fresh.

Kimberly always talks about how photography is a passion and a gift. It’s something that you have to feel and that feeling must come naturally. It’s easy to train someone on the technical side of photography, but the core of photography is something that felt inside. It’s something that you learn over time and it grows with you.

Kimberly did not graduate from a “photography school”, she received her degree at ASU in marketing and has used those skills to run a successful photography business. Within the photography world she constantly attend conferences and workshops to grow as a better photographer each year. She has been mentored by some of the worlds greatest photographers and believes that this has helped her grow into the photographer that she is today.

Kimberly has been blessed with an amazing family. She was married in 2003 to the love of her life and her biggest support. In 2008 Kimberly and Jamie had their first daughter, Kailee. She is her joy and life and couldn’t imagine life without her.

The studio has grown since 2003 and Kimberly now has a 2000 square foot storefront in the historic downtown mesa district. She has grown her team to 4 other girls, including an office manager, and 3 associate photographers. She continually says how blessed she is to have such an amazing team.

Kimberly has been published in multiple magazines and industry blogs and has won numerous photography awards. She is constantly trying to do things differently and stand out amongst her peers.

Leona Sansone - I was wondering do you only do in studio portraits? Also, where are you located? Do you go different cities in AZ? If so how far? I live in Buckeye. How much are you prices? Do you do photos on the weekends?
