BRITTANY + VINCE | WEDDING AT THE WINDMILL WINERY

In April, we had the pleasure of going out to Florence and photographing Brittany & Vince’s wedding at The Windmill Winery in Florence.

We were all looking forward to this wedding – Brittany & Vince are such a sweet couple and we were excited to be apart of their wonderful day! It started out with lots of laughter and last-minute preparation plans at one of the Hotels in Florence. Brittany’s Mom does Mary Kay makeup, so she got all the girls ready for the big day. Down the hall, Vince hung out with his groomsmen and entertained his ‘herd’. His herd, of course, consisted of Vince & Brittany’s  2 year old son Jayden, and his cousins, who were given full permission to jump on the bed.. and Uncle Vince. Let’s just say they took advantage of both!

After a while they all went over to the Windmill Winery. Brittany put on her dress in the quaint little bride’s cottage there on the property while Vince got ready and dressed while also trying to wrestle down the rambunctious Jayden – We gotta say, he’s pretty good at multi-tasking! After that, Brittany and Vince had their first look. We love this part of the day and all the emotions and wonderful pictures it provides!

The Winery is so fun to shoot at – totally different from what we’re used to! We even found an old green-house on the way back of the property that gave us some fun and completely different pictures. For their ceremony, Brittany arrived with her Dad in a horse-drawn carriage – a really fun element of the wedding! Their ceremony was super sweet, but also funny – Jayden didn’t quite understand why he couldn’t just hang out and chill with Mom and Dad! It was such a sweet sight to watch them all walk down the aisle when all was said and finished though.

When the ceremony was done, we went and grabbed some GORGEOUS sunset pictures. We always love when we can take those!

The reception was held in the big red barn on the property. You could tell how close Vince & Brittany are with their loved ones – Vince’s sister made a slideshow to watch during dinner that showed the two of them growing up, and SKM Entertainment put together ‘The Newlywed Game’ with questions that came from their own guests.  After that, everybody was just happy to dance and spend time with each other!  The party still seemed to be going strong, even as we left!
