Ashley + Dan | Tucson Wedding Photographer

What happens when your cousin get’s married, your daughter is the flower girl, your nephews are the ring bearers, and your studio is shooting the wedding while you get to be somewhat of a 3rd shooter? The best day of the year and GREAT pictures.

I have to say that on this wedding I’m very biased since my family is involved in this wedding, so please bear with me while I gush all over the place about what happened!

My cousin Ashley married the amazing Dan and i’m sooooo happy for them. When Ashley started talking to me about her wedding I told her that I was either a guest or the photographer and then we had the great idea that she hire KB and I could be both. So in reality, this is KB’s wedding, but because it is my family and I still shot everything, except for the reception, I’m getting to blog it!! There is a mix of amazing images that were taken by me, KB, and our guest shooter and extraordinaire, Jenny Bishop (with Jennifer Bowen Photography).

Ashley is from Tucson and she decided to have it there on a Thursday afternoon. The weather was perfect and everything totally fell into place. She had a great team of vendors and it truly was beautiful.

Thanks to these amazing vendors:

We started with getting ready pictures at the location of the wedding – The Reflections at the Buttes.

I’m so addicted to KB’s shoe shots.

The guys did what guys do and hung out until briefly before the wedding. Of course they had to play some pool.

Dan is a softy and we love him for it. I don’t think i’ve ever seen a groom cry as much as he did:) It was amazing and really showed us all how much he truly loves Ashley. He’s a keeper.

Love these shots that Jenny got… Dan was so nervous.

The girls had a great time getting ready. It was a party.

I am in love with this shot that KB got.

In LOVE with this one.

Dan, right before their first look. Ashely and Dan defined the reason that I believe so much in seeing each other before the wedding. The emotions were real and raw and we were able to capture it beautifully through these pictures.

I love that Ashely and Dan were up for anything. We got some great pictures because they were willing to go anywhere!!

My little Kailee seeing Ashley for the first time. Isn’t she the prettiest flower girl ever?

My nephews. They are twins (not identical). My little loves!

The cousins!!

Beautiful details!

My wonderful husband!

The cousins helped Kailee get down the aisle, but she did great on her own. When she saw her daddy she shouted out, “I did it”!!! Way to go baby girl!

Ashley walked down the aisle with her mom and it was extremely emotional!

Dan’s mom getting his reaction!

Again, this proves that seeing each other before hand does not take away the emotion of seeing each other walking down the aisle. These are some of the most amazing pictures i’ve seen at the giving away!

Kailee and all the kiddo’s did so good sitting up there during the ceremony. So cute!!

This is Jace, my little cousin!! He was the only one who stayed up on the stage the entire time!

More of my cutie pie!!

Liam kinda wanted to go sit down so he inched his way out during the ceremony. Aidan kept telling him to come back. It was hillarious.

My sister and Dad sang the music during the unity candle.

Kailee decided she was done up there too. Thank goodness for Grandmas who take over.

And this is why when your child is in the wedding you really can’t be the “main shooter”. Great catch Jenny Bishop… I LOVE these pictures. Kailee really wanted to see what I had been getting and wanted her mommy. I was cool with it… it was wonderful. Maybe one day she’ll be shooting next to me:)

My grandma and aunt!

Time to Party!!

Here is my entire family (my dad’s side)!

KB went out to grab a few more classic KB shots. LOVE!

My favorite picture of the entire night!!! Liam tacking Kailee to give her a kiss… Yes, she threw her arms back like that!!

My little girl is an amazing dancer and copied everything the DJ told her to do. She rocked!

1st Dance… so sweet!

I quickly grabbed my camera and grabbed this one. I think it’s my favorite new 1st dance picture of all times! I loved being a 3rd shooter!

More emotions!

And then the party started!

What an amazing wedding and time. Thank you to KB and Jenny Bishop for capturing so many amazing shots for my family. And a big thanks to JennyP for coming out too!

Ashley and Dan, you are the best and I wish you the most amazing life together!
